Attempted murder charges laid on men known to frequent Orange for Walgett attack | Central Western Daily

Two men who are known to frequent Orange have been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed, kicked and punched in the face during a fight in northern NSW last week. About 7.30pm on Friday, February 19, officers attached to Central North Police District were called to Duff Street, Walgett, where a 24-year-old man was found with multiple injuries. He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for stab wounds to the head and shoulder, before being taken to the Walgett Multipurpose Centre. The Walgett man was airlifted by the Royal Flying Doctor Service to Dubbo Base Hospital for further treatment. The man was later transferred to Royal…
