Matthew White jailed in Orange for possession of gun, drugs | Central Western Daily

A man who was suspected of supplying methamphetamine and was found in possession of a shortened firearm has been sentenced to jail. Matthew John White, 33, of Bathurst Road, was issued a firearms prohibition order on December 14 and police stopped and searched him in Nunns Avenue at 4.45pm on February 3 this year. Although nothing was found on him during the search, police were granted access to his home and found a shortened firearm on his bed and cannabis on the bedside table.
