Orange Chamber Music Festival to feature leading musicians | Central Western Daily

Orange is famous for its food and wine festivals but the city is spreading its reach to music with the first Orange Chamber Music Festival this weekend. Events start on Thursday night with international, Australian and local artists coming together for four days of classical music at a winery, restaurants, the Civic Theatre, the Orange Regional Conservatorium and the Orange Regional Museum. Orange360 general manager Caddie Marshall said they were keen to spread Orange’s attractions to the arts. “We will do anything we can to support the arts,” she said. “We just see this is as a huge growth market. “It is something people do travel for.” Ms Marshall said at least 80 per cent of the initial sale of tickets for the…
