Orange plant sale hosted by Friends of Botanic Gardens next weekend | Central Western Daily

Fortunately for locals and tourists alike, the last weekend of FOOD Week will coincide with Friends of the Orange Botanic Gardens’ Plant Sale. On Saturday, April 17, and Sunday, April 18, a large variety of “well established” plants and flowers will be available for purchase to help the community group pay for additional features in the garden. Friends of the Orange Botanic Gardens president Susan Sanders said most of the plants up for sale ranged between $2 and $4, although there were a few larger pot plants with higher price tags which reflected that. “Our aim is to raise funds to enhance the garden in the way of features, fountains or anything like that,” Mrs Sanders said. “We’re raising money to put some seats…
