Orange’s fast food precinct to have international burger store | Central Western Daily

Orange’s offering of fast food chain stores is set to be boosted after a burger business confirmed it has the city in its sights. Carl’s Jr is looking to be part of a five-store fast food and drive-though precinct on the Northern Distributor Road opposite Bunnings and next to the railway line. A plan to re-zone the site to suit fast food eateries is currently before Orange City Council. A council spokesman said the re-zoning went on public exhibition last year, had gained council support and was progressing to the next stage. The precinct would sit alongside a Caltex service station, Oporto fast food store and a Coffee Time cafe which has gained planning approval for the corner of the NDR and Leeds Parade. Carl’s Jr…
