An Orange taxi rank would move around the corner from Robertson Park to Summer Street under plans being considered by Orange City Council. As part of the next stage of the Future City CBD revamp, the taxi rank would move to the front of the bus stop on the northern side of Summer Street, near Lords Place. The existing site would become car parking and a pedestrian crossing as part of the plans to upgrade Lords Place. Four parking spaces would be lost in Summer Street to make way for the cab rank.
